The Creation Process

Drawing is the cornerstone of every project in this studio, and it’s also the artist’s favourite part of the process. Each project begins with a customer-supplied brief, research of the subject matter, and all new creations start as pencil sketches. Next pencil drawings are transformed into full-colour versions or black and white using a variety of media. Whether using graphite, coloured pencils, or watercolours, layers of colour are meticulously built up to achieve the final result. This process requires time and patience, but watching the artwork evolve is incredibly rewarding and a great motivator.
