This is a watercolour painting I completed of the face of a cat, as it looks through a mouse hole cut out of a skirting board. It’s a take on the cartoons where the cat would chase the mouse. The mouse would usually escape through a hole cut of the skirting board. On this occasion the cat looks through but the mice have escaped, in fact they were all gone.
