Gastrointestinal (GI) Tract

Illustration Description

The client Cambridge Design Partnership commissioned a specific illustration for use within a video presentation. The content of the illustration required was to be the anatomy of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract to include the mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus. It needed to be a female figure with a specific skin tone to form the backdrop with her head turned to one side to better highlight the upper portion of the anatomy. The remainder body position to be facing forwards (anterior). The illustration to show the internal anatomy as a layer within the body and in a cross-sectional anterior view so that the interior of the anatomy can be seen.
