Illustration Description
The scene is representative of a river located in Ghana. First I carried out research so that I understood the local plants and the foliage that would live along the river bank. The illustration was initially drawn in pencil and then scanned at high resolution and saved as a jpeg file. The sketch was then placed into Photoshop and used as an underlaying drawing so that I could complete it using the airbrush tool in Photoshop.
