Illustration Description
The illustration followed a well known theme of a stork carrying a newborn baby (girl), as storks nesting on the roof of a household were believed to bring good luck and the possibility of new birth. The purpose of the card design was intended to use by those wishing to send a card to celebrate a new birth.
