The Domestic Pig with Labelled Anatomy

Illustration Description

The pig (Sus domesticus) has been illustrated with a cut through technique of the muscle anatomy with a transparent view to the internal anatomy. The anatomy has been labelled, showing the lungs, heart, large and small bowel, and liver and kidneys. The purpose of the illustration was to fulfil a brief commissioned to support education and to knowledge transfer across the global food supply chain industries: agriculture, aquaculture and veterinary.  Details of the case study for the project can be seen here: Case Study
